Abstract
Whaling in the Bürgerpark – two lost whale bone monuments from Bremen. – Based on research about the whaling history of Bremen, two now lost whale bone monuments of either late 19th or early 20th century origin are presented, which are of interest for zoology, local history and history of science. Despite their formerly impressive appearance in the town picture, the available information about these monuments is astonishingly scarce.
