[Fish Remains from the Ancient City Center of Bremen],

Abstract
A small assemblage of fish bones from the former St. Catherine’s monastery in the medieval city center of Bremen has been analysed, which includes at least six different taxa. The majority consists of large individuals of Gadidae, with the exception of one skull bone exclusively postcranial elements, suggesting the remains of stockfish. Further evident are sturgeon, Cyprinidae, perch and salmon or trout.
